SONY LA-X SERIES CHASSIS TVs _ CABLE CARD INSERTION AND SETTING PROCEDURE

• When inserting cable card push carefully, but firmly until you feel the card click into place.
• When correctly inserted the card should almost be flush with the back of the slot.

• When there is no cable card, or card is not inserted correctly the release tab will be pushed in.
• Once the cable card is correctly inserted a dialogue box similar to the one shown below will be displayed.
• Press Cursor select button to continue.

• After connected the cable and completed all steps above a dialogue box will be shown indicating the cable card is searching for channels.

• Once channel search is completed a dialogue box will appear indicating the number of digital and analogue channels found.  
• To complete the initial cable card setup, press the Cursor Select button.

• Once the initial cable card set up is complete, a dialogue box will appear displaying the Cable Card and Host ID.
• The customer must then contact the cable company and provide the Cable Card and Host ID, so the card can be activated. 
• See an example to the dialogue box said above.

• Once the cable card is set up the cable card option in the user menu will no longer be grayed out.
